Great location, right by the U2 metro, Rathaus stop, which is also right next to the townhall. I LOVED my room. Gorgeous high ceilings, nice bathroom, comfortable bed. And the staff is so helpful! With excellent English, too. For sure I'll stay here on my next trip to Vienna!

Great Hotel!
Friendly staff and clean rooms! Easy to get to betel from the Wien Central station by taking the U2 bahn to Rathaus. A 5 minute walk to the hotel as well as a 5 minute walk to the Christmas markets. Highly recommend!

I arrived just over an hour before the check-in time but couldn't check in although I could leave my luggage which I also did on my last day. It was close to a couple of metro stations & close to some of the sights. A couple of small supermarkets are very close. It was a nice place to stay & I'm now hoping to stay again next year.

I arrived early than expected and the reception was very hospitable and helpful to allow me to stay in their area while waiting for my room to be ready until I was able to check in early... the room doesn't have air condition and the windows are hard to open to circulate the air...

Lehrerhaus is close to the main central museums and right in the heart of Vienna's theatre district. There are lots of good restaurants and pubs within walking distance. The street itself is fairly quiet. Breakfast is not provided, but there are fridges in the dining room and on each floor so you can make your own breakfast--microwave cooking only. There is an elevator in the building, but there is a short flight of stairs to reach reception.

Good advice for an excellent stay in Vienna
My first visit to this Pension but it will not be the last! The Hotel is old but very well looked after, with the staff who are very willing to help with any problem, including 1st.Aid. The day before my journey I had cut my hand very badly needing hospital treatment. The dressing need attention each day with help freely given by the hotel staff! The hotel is only 2* and whilst not luxurious, is very clean and well looked, after in a very quiet street close by the Museum Quarter. The English Theatre in Vienna is only a few doors away with performances in English nearly every night! It is about a 5-6 minutes walk to the U3 underground at Rathuss or Volkstheatrre and then a couple of stops to the main tourist centre. Do not expect luxury but you will get excellent value for money at £88 for two nights. My third night cost me £103 and I slept no better adjacent to a main road next to the railway station. The hotel forget to give me an alarm call for my 5am taxi to the airport, which could have been disastrous ! Service was much better at the 2 * Pension Lehrerhaus than at the 5* hotel.

Wonderful hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable. It is located in a beautiful building within walking distance of a metro station and many of the sights in Vienna. The staff were amazing and spoke very good English. There was also a supermarket right next door which was great.

Happy solo traveler
Place was perfect for me a solo traveler. I just need a bed and bathroom. This pension meets expectations. Only issue my bed sheets had hairs (I’m bald) so i believe they didn’t changed them but i don’t care. Service is excellent. Location amazing too. Right in the middle of everything. I walked mostly everywhere.

Good Pension, well situated near the metro station
The Pension is very clean and comfortable, close to the Rathaus and the metro. It is economical and situated in a quiet place. The staff were very helpful when I had to check in for my flight and the details were in German. They also printed out the checking in ticket for free. The open hours of reception are good from about 6.30am to midnight and even then you are given a key for entry to the building for outside of these hours. The building has a lift.

Nice, clean budget hotel in Vienna.
This hotel is a nice budget option in Vienna. Value for money was excellent. We stayed 6 days and shared a bathroom. We had no issues with this at all. The shared bathroom was very, very clean. While no breakfast is included, they have refrigerators in the breakfast room and all the supplies you will need to make a reasonable breakfast including microwave. No stove. Staff was nice and room is clean. My wife and I travel regularly to Europe and this was a fine budget option. Totally felt safe and the neighborhood has some nice restaurants. A Billa grocery store is literally in the same building and a Spar is just one block down the street. Its a 20 minute walk to the cathedral in the city center but the subway and trams are just two blocks away if you don't want to walk. The pillows were a little tired but that was our only complaint.
