"The hotel was updated, fresh, and the staff went beyond to make us feel at home. The room was ready early and was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful. We loved our stay and would recommend to anyone "

"Our favorite in Florence. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We went to Cortona for a week and bookended our stay at Bernini. The staff arranged for us to pick up and drop off a rental car at the hotel, made everything super easy. Can’t say enough great things. "
"Location!! We took trains almost every day and this hotel is right across the street from the station. There was no noise from the trains or busy street while trying to sleep. Staff was very helpful and breakfast was good every day. Hotel is clean and always felt safe late at night. Walkable to tourist spots and Oltrarno. It was a perfect choice for us! "
"Super charming and stylish (traditional Florentine) hotel. Many rooms (eg mine) overlook beautiful Piazza Santa Maria Novella and its church. Lovely views. Nice bathroom, very professional and friendly service from all the personnel there. The street level bar (inside
outside sections) seem to be favored by cool locals as well as guests. The food menu covered lots of bases and everything I sampled was delicious. Check out the Napoleon salon!

"Our stay was ALMOST perfect. We got the wellness suite, and the sauna was broken for our entire stay. We asked to get maintenance in and check on it 3 times and they didn’t fix it because they thought it was working because they wouldn’t stay in the room long enough to make sure that it was working. We then asked turn down service one night to make sure that the sauna was on when we got back from a dinner, and reception didn’t do this. We were given a complimentary bottle of wine for our troubles but then no bottle opener, and we called for someone to get it open for us, but then reception said we needed to go up to the bar in order to open it which wasn’t the best service. We learned our lesson. The hotel was definitely a 4-star service… but then again we’ve had better service at other 4-star hotels. My husband and I will come back, but maybe we will just stay in a cheaper room that doesn’t have a sauna, and have a shorter stay."
