I spent 5 night at the playa hotel and I did have a good time , the property was ok ish, it is close to the beach and all the shops and restaurant area so really good . The staff was really nice and helpful however the room was a bit too small but ok overall

Close to the beach!
Was really close to the beach and all of the place to eat and shop. Was clean and the hotel staff were very friendly. We had a problem with the Wi-fi and they corrected it right away. Good place to stay if you're on a budget but still want to stay really close to the beach.

Can't understand why this hotel has such a high rating. Location is great but other than that am failing to see what the fuss is about. Room in need of a make over and the air con was down right rubbish....would have had a cooler breeze off an ice cream! Wouldn't stay again, Grand Hotel for me next time!

Lovely little hotel with perfect location.
Lovely hotel, great location, helpful staff. Spacious room, nice seaview, very handy fridge in the room for kids` snacks and beer... Good breakfast with fantastic coffee. Beach is across the road and also lovely park across another road. Lots to do in Viareggio anyway. The only disadvantage is parking. You need to pay for parking, anywhere you go. We managed to find a free parking on the other side of the park, otherwise it`s 10 euro a day by the hotel. We would definitely go there again !!!

Friendly place and nicely situated.
the hotel is nicely situatated close to the beach and the people friendly and helpful. The climate in the room was good and we had a nice balcony with a view of the ocean. The only thing I could have wished for was some vegetables for breakfast and maybe some youghurt that was not sweet. Small things.

La stanza aveva tutto l'arredamento nuovo e tutto era funzionante e pulito. L'albergo si trova a 50 metri dal mare. Si deve solo attraversare la strada. Per il parcheggio ci sono tanti posti a pagamento davanti all'ingresso.

L'hotel si trova vicino al mare, in una buona posizione. Il personale dell'hotel è cordiale e disponibile, è stato disponibile anche a farci fare checkout per ultimi. L'orario di checkout è comunque a mio avviso un po' ristretto, a mio avviso il minimo per ogni hotel 3 o 4 stelle dovrebbe essere le ore 11 (meglio ovviamente se le ore 12 come fanno alcuni hotel). Il bagno durante la notte era troppo freddo (mese di aprile).

Hotel pulito, massima cortesia, vicino spiaggia
Abbiamo piacevolmente pernottato in questo hotel pulito, discreto, a due passi dal mare e dai viali a mare di Viareggio. Ampia zona per parcheggiare nelle vicinanze (a pagamento tariffa fissa per turisti). Situato proprio davanti al bellissimo parco di Viareggio. Estrema cortesia e disponibilità dei proprietari.
