"Being ex RN im used to the area, and used to frequent the establishment when it was the sailors home club. Pure nostalgia. Lovely, polite staff especially in the restaurant. Will certainly visit again next year."

"A spacious, comfortable, and clean room. We enjoyed a well presented breakfast with a good choice of hot and cold food. The spar was small but had a pleasant pool and sauna, unfortunately the steam room wasn't working when we were there.We consider the hotel good value for money at around £100 per night for B&B."

"fab trip, we booked Thai cookery class at local restaurant and needed a base as we came from London, checkin in at the bar was easy and the room was great, no wardrobe but I knew that, a few hangers on hooks on the wall, had shampoo, conditioner and shower gel and handsoap. compact bathroom but did the job, double bed, various lamps, tea coffee making very clean and very comfortable and good value, hotel room also quiet, couldnt hear other rooms. Bar staff friendly ! "
