"They are trying to revitalize this area. So construction is going on (no noise, but some dilapidated buildings around , and that might turn off some people, but it really made it quite charming for us. The staff was unbelievably nice and attentive. And you can walk to old town easily and safely.(20min), so great location if you want to explore Old San Juan. "We stay here almost every time we're in PR. We don't like fancy and its perfect for us. We prefer small and friendly. The owner Angel is very kind and will do anything to help you if needed. We've stayed probably 6-8 ish times now and will continue coming here. Its away from the hustle of bigger cities but still a beautiful beach and view. "

"Convenient location to beach access, restaraunts, shopping, Walgreens, super max market and close to airport as well a cruise ship ports. Stayed for 4 nights and did have a main water pipe break the first night, but was fixed the next day. Wifi didn't work until last 2 days of stay, but would deleting stay again due to the convenience of everything around it. It is located in town so it's quite noisy, but i think you'll get that in allot of places unless they're insulated better. "

"The room we had was absolutely horrible. There was an electrical plug dangling next to the shower head and There were missing outlet covers. The communication was awesome and once we told them, they understood why we were not staying there any longer. "

"The only complaint I had was the shower not having a door or a floor barrier to keep the water from getting on the floor outside the shower. Otherwise I would still stay again and definitely recommend it. Excellent price for the location, cleanliness and amenities. The sleeping arrangements are also great for a family of 4. Spacious living areas including the bathroom."

"Commutation was important as all of Puerto Rico lost power. The owners did a great job keeping in touch. The apartment was terrific and we were happy to have snacks supplied as food was difficult to get with the power outage. Loved the balcony and being in the heart of old San Juan. Thanks. Nancy T"

"Not sure what the negative comments were all about, the resort is nice. Has some age showing but its not obvious. Front desk young lady at checkin was super! Helped with all kinds of things, very friendly . Our 5th floor "cheap" room in the Wave Building with balcony is quite nice. Still can see ocean beyond a roof below. We did not eat at the hotel restaraunts or buy drinks. Average food entres are 25 to 40 bucks. There is a great local bar/eatery across the street with a good assortment menu i'd recommend. Its very casual with outdoor seating Pools are well maintained and the manmade beach/cove secludes you from the waves and wind. There is no airport or cruise shuttle. Uber is very reasonable or a taxi. Taxi from airport was 30 with tip. Uber is definitely cheaper. Overall its a 4 out of 5 "

"This hotel is a great inexpensive option right in the middle of the excitement of San Juan and only a 5 minute walk to the ocean. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating and the room and common areas were clean and bright. There was also someone at the front desk 24 hour a day for security and help. There are a few first-come parking spots on the hotel property and when there wasn’t one available we easily found a spot on the street. I would happily stay here again on our next trip!"
