"We loved the hotel. I wish I had known that courtyard view meant it was a very small internal courtyard. I would have paid for a better view, more sunlight. But otherwise it was a very lovely, large and clean room. The breakfast was very good."

"This is hotel is extraordinary. Set right in the center of Valletta, you cannot ask for a better location. As soon as you open it’s doors you feel the tranquility of this perfect hotel. A renovated palace, meticulously maintaned it’s the perfect spot to explore Malta. Our suite was spacious, with a comfortable bed, two renovated batrooms - perfect for an extended stay. Staff was attentive and helpful in every way. A special mention to Sandra, whose recommendations were right on point. Her help in securing tours and recommendations were invaluable. Last but not least, the hotel’s restaurant L’Ancora must be visited. There are many great options in Valletta, but this one is highly recommended. "

"Lovely hotel, excellent and friendly service from the staff. The breakfast was nice, and the free wine was a plus watching the sunset on the rooftop seating. The location is good for Valetta, close but out the way for the noise, within walking distance of everything. Would suggest towels need changing more frequent but no other feedback."

"Excellent location in the heart of Valletta, close to the main areas but far enough to get a good night’s sleep. Amazing professional and knowledgeable staff - each one going that extra mile to help. In particular huge thanks to Patrica & Daniel and the front of house team, and to Manisha & her team (breakfast team) for making our stay memorable! The view from room 601 is amazing! If there was a negative or two (& these are niggles) it would be the lack of a bar in the evenings, the curtains in the room were dated and the bed was not fixed into position! "

"A fabulous hotel in a super central location. Everywhere is walkable. Breakfast buffet of high quality. The rooftop pool, bar and restaurant was a highlight of our stay, not only for the view and cocktail menu but the lovely and helpful staff. "Right in the heart of Valletta, this is a great location to experience the city. You can walk pretty much anywhere and experience so many great dining and shopping options in 1 minute of walking out of the front door. Staff is friendly, the breakfast and evening teas are wonderful. Definitely recommend and would stay here again."
