"This is a unique hotel, perched on the hilltop of Montesano village. It has old charm and lots of character. Our room was spacious and with castle-themed furniture. We had a private terrace patio which was huge and offered a spectacular view across the area. The girl at the reception, Elsa, was very kind and informative. We had dinner at the restaurant of the hotel and it was delicious. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is a hidden gem. Parking at the property is free."

"L'Aia is a nice B&B (not Resort) with a very friendly owner (Vincenzo) that does everything to make the stay welcoming and relaxing. The room has a good size, and the exterior has beautiful views. "We went in late May, so before the main season. The hotel is lovely, comfortable rooms - book one with a sea view, it's amazing. The pool was fabulous, plenty of seating and sunbeds. Good parking arrangements. Staff are friendly and willing to help. If there was an area for I would suggest some alternatives to the baked sweet goods, although if you have a sweet tooth, you're in for a treat. Eggs were available on request and they were good. It is a stunningly beautiful part of the world and the hotel is a perfect place to enjoy it."
