"A bit out of the way, but the room is incredibly beautiful and the staff is so helpful and sweet. The views of Beppu, even from the first floor, are wonderful and the Onsen bath will be everything you hope for. That water comes straight from the natural spring, there is no question about it. A little sulphuric and a lot of heat! Exactly like the Seven Hells that you can’t miss while you’re town. "

"Great location if you’re visiting Hyotan Onsen etc. En-suite showers are a little small, and the hot water isn’t very hot (which is strange for a hotel with a hot spring). Not a big deal though because you could just go downstairs and shower in the on site hot spring. The Rooms had a great view of the city and the sea. Overall pretty decent place."
