"This location is a bird watching, listening, paradise. The cabins are surrounded by lush vegetation and trees. The owner Cede is very friendly and accommodating. We had dinner and breakfast and both were delicious and reasonably priced. We stayed here Friday Nov. 8, 2024 and were the only guest due to the rainy season. "This place was really nice. There’s a great view that is only open to gas of the property. It is conveniently located near the volcanic park as well as tours for Tubing and swimming in the river. The host Elias was very accommodating and he was understanding of our trip, timing and tour timings and make sure we could shower after we return from the hike. "This was our first night in Costa Rica. We picked to stay here to split the drive to la fortuna and to be able to stop at Rio Celeste. It’s close to Rio Celeste. The town itself seems abanded. The owner of this property is very sweet. The area is loud, close to the road and constantly hearing traffic. The cabin type room has a large portable fan which was great. Shower works well. Good stay for 1 night. "

"One of our best accomodation in Costa Rica so far. Very clean, confortable and quiet. The only con is that the road that bring you here is is not asphalted and take quite a long time."

"I liked the friendly staff and the amazing views of Lake Arenal from the dining area. The restaurant features 8 different artisanal beers that are brewed on the property. The pool is a decent size for swimming and the hot tub grotta felt very relaxing. The hotel also features fun games including pool billard etc. and other amenities. Overall a fun and relaxing experience."

"We stayed in the dome tent and it was amazing! We had a beautiful view when we woke up in the morning. There were showers and a mini fridge available too. The food at the ranch is amazing! The cook is wonderful. The jacuzi, pool, and animals were also a great add on to a wonderful stay!"

"You can't get any closer to the hike for Rio Celeste and it is so much better tonight hike first thing in the morning before it gets too crowded and the animals are all still out! This place was so charming and simple. The staff are beyond hospitable and it feels like you are a guest of a family. The restaurant on site is very good and open until 8pm. We loved this stay and are so glad we booked it. The single beds creak a bit but we slept well anyway Breakfast was really good and the sausage was delicious!!! If you want an authentic experience, to see red eyed tree frogs at night and are open to off the beaten path this place was an incredible find at a great value. There is also a shop and another restaurant on the same little road, along with mountain bike rentals. Side note... If you get offered a guide to the waterfall it will be worth every penny! We did this upon arrival and are so glad we did "

"Excellent location, wonderful service and very clean. Delicious included breakfast overlooking a volcano backdrop. Incredible value for price. Booked based on location and proximity to Rio Celeste waterfall. Easily walkable to entrance of national park for Rio Celeste hike. Highly recommend for anyone looking to hike Rio Celeste Waterfall. "

"The family is very welcoming!! And eager to give information and great recommendations!, rooms are clean, breakfast and coffee are yummy and filling, the grounds are gorgeous, does lack adequate AC though, waited til evening to open windows to cool off, Loved the place overall!!"
