"This place was really nice. There’s a great view that is only open to gas of the property. It is conveniently located near the volcanic park as well as tours for Tubing and swimming in the river. The host Elias was very accommodating and he was understanding of our trip, timing and tour timings and make sure we could shower after we return from the hike. "This was our first night in Costa Rica. We picked to stay here to split the drive to la fortuna and to be able to stop at Rio Celeste. It’s close to Rio Celeste. The town itself seems abanded. The owner of this property is very sweet. The area is loud, close to the road and constantly hearing traffic. The cabin type room has a large portable fan which was great. Shower works well. Good stay for 1 night. "

"This is a stunner of a place! The grounds are tropical gardens and each cabin is gorgeously designed with local and recyclable materials. breakfast in the garden is divine and dinner in the evenings is hearty with local farm fresh products. To top it all off the owners are so delightful and truly welcoming. A fabulous stay- one we hope to return to! "

"The hotel check in was easy. The room was clean and grounds were immaculately groomed. My kids especially loved the water slide! There was a sloth hanging out in a tree behind our room during our stay. We also saw lots of monkeys while soaking in the Jamaica pool. The restaurant was not our favorite of the trip, but the second night we visited Cocina de Mayrita for dinner based on another review. It was a highlight of the trip!! It was an amazing dining experience. Be sure to bring cash...
