wonderful stay

The stay at this wonderful hotel was just perfect , beautiful scenery , the sauna facilities were great , the service and staff wonderful , we felt that the food menu was limited for the vegetarian and overall the menu was nice but again small and limited , that was my only criticism

Amazing location right on the lake as advertised, extremely friendly and cooperative staff, great for kids with outdoor and indoor play areas. Restaurant was the icing on the cake offering a wide variety of options including traditional German/ Austrian options. Breakfast was great as well with wide variety of options to choose from Will strongly recommend for anyone who is looking to stay in the Salzkammergut area

Pleasant but you need a kettle!

A very nice hotel, stunning unspoilt views of the lake. Quick check in and check out with a personable service. My only negative was that for such a luxurious hotel, there are no tea and coffee making facilities in the room, this is such an out dated practice and definitely dampens the experience when you can’t make a drink to enjoy on your balcony.

This hotel is so wonderful that I actually didn’t want to rate it - yes! I wanted to keep this hidden gem a secret for myself! Unbelievably gorgeous location, gracious, helpful staff, excellent restaurant and breakfast, quiet, and comfortable. What more could anyone want? I wish I could buy the property but keep the entire staff. There is not one single thing that I can say that would improve this hotel. It is that perfect. By the way, if you’re staying in the area, drive over to St. Wolfgang and take the gondola ride to the top of the mountain. This was suggested by the hotel staff and the view is amazing - well worth it.

The STADLER was an ideal location to explore the Austrian lakes area. Lots of hiking and beautiful scenery to enjoy. Easy drive to Mondsee, Hallstatt and Salzburg. The staff was so very friendly and made me feel right at home. The food was excellent and plenty of activities right at the hotel (boating, bike rental, etc). This was a 5/5 stay. I can’t recommend it enough. You won’t be disappointed.

Attersee is a hidden jewel that we found accidentally during our stay in Austria. It is a mini Lake Tahoe in Austria, located 15 min away from Gmunden. The place is absolutely beautiful with breathtaking away views. The water of the lake has turquoise color. Hotel has free on-site parking, private beach, table tennis. We were surprised to find out that paddle boards, kayaks and some boat types were free of charge included in the hotel price. The room we stayed had lake view and one of family members decided to sleep on the balcony to watch falling stars and lake view as well as sunrise. It is a great vacation spot for families. Unfortunately we could stay only 1 night but we shall definitely be back!!!!

居心地の良い湖畔のリゾートホテル。季節により印象が変わると思われます。以下は11月の滞在のレビューです。 ザルツブルクからレンタカーで約1時間弱、夕暮れの絶景を楽しみながらこのホテルへ到着しました。 シーズンオフかつ日曜日でもあり、フロント近くの駐車スペースに難なく駐車できました。 雲が低く垂れこめる天気だったのは残念でしたが、レイクビューの部屋からの晩秋の夕暮れの静かな湖畔の眺めは素晴らしかったです。 ホテル自体が湖畔にあり、夏ならば水遊びも楽しめそうです。部屋にもビーチサンダルや水着の上に着るローブの用意がありました。 共用スペース、部屋ともにリゾートホテルのそれにふさわしいもので、静かで落ち着いた大人の雰囲気でした。 夕食を食べられる場所は外にはなく、必然的にレストランも利用することになりますが、こうしたホテルのレストランとしては手ごろな値段でありながらとても美味しかったです。 朝食ビュッフェも同じ素晴らしい雰囲気のレストランで、素晴らしい湖畔の景色を楽しみながらいただきました。 この季節なので静かに落ち着いた滞在となり、ほかの多くはない宿泊客も大半がリタイアした世代のカップルでした。 時間と予算の余裕があれば何泊もしたいと思いました。
