"They property had beautiful views and access to beach at low tide. Was a remote location with a rough road to access it. They should specify that it is a alcohol free resort. Staff was friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the quiet and views."

"Fantastisk hytte på en skøn strand lige ved The Rock. Dog på øst siden så meget lavvande størstedelen af dagen. Smuk solopgang . Servering af mad på terassen både morgen og efter bestilling . Den lokale mad var god men fx burger ikke pengene værd. Fornuftige priser både på mad og drikke . Fantastiske restauranter langs stranden (bedre og billigere end The Rock) Virkelig sød og hjælpsom personale 😊 Strømmen gik hver dag og sengen var ikke så komfortabel - men vi kommer igen !"

"Struttura nuova e molto ben curata! Personale a dir poco fantastico, gentilissimo e disponibile a qualunque richiesta. Unica pecca, il percorso per raggiungere il mare. Bisogna attraversare un villaggio, che a priori potrebbe intimorire gli ospiti ma che poi alla fine risulta invece una piacevole esperienza, dove si vede come vivono i residenti. "

"Overall, it was an absolutely amazing experience - we stayed in the over-water villa. Extremely helpful staff, great service, amazing food options, the views were incredible, 2 restaurant options so overall very pleased with that. One thing to be aware of is that they do have an electricity issue where randomly in the middle of the night, they are left with no electricity. I was told it's the whole island problem so bear that in mind. Also, their villas aren't entirely sealed so I had a few...

Good - and not so good

"+ The hotel is placed in the middle of everything, the room was nice and had lots of space and a great balcony. " We had an unforgettable experience at Tulia Zanzibar during our honeymoon. The food was absolutely amazing—truly high-end and exceeded our expectations. The service was beyond phenomenal; the staff were some of the best we've ever encountered, with Joseph standing out as an exceptional member of the team. They made us feel incredibly special, surprising us with thoughtful little touches throughout our stay. The property itself is stunning, offering a serene and picturesque environment. "Lovely property in a quiet corner of Stonetown. Great swimming pool. Historic quality of hotel added a charming feel. Most rooms overlook the ocean. The amenities were complete and the room was very comfortable. Spend a little extra to get an outside balcony or verandah. The staff was wonderful and helpful. There are lots of restaurants nearby. I can't speak for the food at the on property restaurant since I had to leave early and skipped the breakfast. I would definitely stay here again on a Stonetown visit. "

"Incredible staff nothing was too much to ensure my stay was amazing. The room was fantastic but would have liked not to have ask for the fridge or other listed things that weren’t in the room.! Main issue would be the lack of transport for solo travellers, the opportunity is there but not explored as we would love to book trips but are excluded The location may not be suitable for many but for my stay it was perfect "
