"What an amazing place, 5 star luxury, the hotel grounds are pristinely, you have your own beach (as its difficult to get to unless you have hotel access. Great pool, the food is the best we had in Sri Lanka, they serve different types of Sri Lankan breakfast that you can try, like egg hoppers and sting hoppers with curry and dhal. We stayed in the sea view rooms on the second floor, amazing view of the sea and are huge. The best bit are the guys working there, they cannot do enough for you and make the experience. 10 min walk to Turtle Beach were you can hand feed Green Turtles, 5 mins in a tuk tuk to Unawatuna and 15 to Galle. So huge choice of restaurants and bars. We loved it here, we will stay again when we come back to Sri Lanka. Great value too booked on Hotels.com. Best value we have ever had."

"This is a really good option for Unawatuna. It is set above the road (quite busy) and is an oasis of well designed chalets and the main the building. The pool is fantastic. Breakfast is available and we were told by guests that it was very good. The staff are wonderful. Friendly and very helpful. The rooms are spotless. The tuk tuk is always available to get from the front gate - many steps and quite steep if you decide to walk it (I did!). There are two large tortoises and two dogs on site. Only two slight negatives for me - the barking of the dogs (not all the time!) and no hot water tap on the sink - a very good shower though. There are many good restaurants within easy walking distance. We recommend The Bar and Black and White (both across the road and on the beach). "

"Nice facility, our room was fairly unique with some fake rock. Our daughter's room had a cool outdoor bathtub. You get great use of two other Thambapanni resorts in the area. Rooms are large and interesting. Very musty. The air conditioner needed to be maintained to keep mildew out. Clothes drying rack, nice bathroom and good breakfast. Super accommodating staff. Unawatuna is a bit of a Russian tourist trap. Aggressive tuktuk drivers and merchants. Jungle Beach nice but crowded. The Sea Waves restaurant is awesome for dinner! "

"Levels was amazing! Its quaint atmosphere was so very inviting and the staff was truly so hospitable and AMAZING! The rooms were clean, spacious and the views were out of this world. We were provided exceptional service from Kumara, Rasika,Thilina, Sehan yasmka and chef sujith. They were friendly and kind, and the food prepared by chef Sujith was so so delicious — authentic Sri Lankan food to innovative new creations, he can do it all. Thank you levels for the best experience ever! "
