"We love a bit of Aloha, so this hotel was delightful! Comfortable room, excellent breakfast buffet, good location for walking around Litzelstetten, catching a local bus into Konstanz, which is a very beautiful town, or driving a short distance to the Insel Mainau or to the ferry across to Meersburg. Would stay again. "

"Communication was difficult as staff spoke little German. Room was very spartan. Unbeatable location through. No parking, but they provided a discounted garage voucher. "

"Décevant! L’annonce indique qu’il y a un parking, la dame qui nous a reçu nous assure qu’il n’y en a pas et que nous devons nous stationner dans un stationnement public que l’on doit trouver. Plus tard on lit sur le site qu’ils donnent normalement des réductions pour le stationnement et une « guestcard » pour les transports publics. Nous n’avons rien reçu. Ils indiquent que la réception est ouverte de 8h30 à 17h. Personne à 16h05 et à 9h15 le lendemain! L’annonce indique qu’il y a une buanderie, nous ne l’avons jamais trouvée et comme la réception était fermée, personne pour nous aider!"

"Such a beautiful hotel with lovely reception staff. We booked a junior suite which had a great view of the gardens and lake. Breakfast was amazing with so much choice. Comfortable large bed. Great food in the restaurant in the evening. Very close to the ferry and lots of restaurants. 10 minute walk to the train station. Lots of options for walks along the lake to other towns and can get the bus or train back. Would definitely recommend staying in Uberlingen and this lovely hotel. "

"A family of four, we stayed in one of the junior suites, with a queen bed and a converted sofa bed. The room was very spacious, had large closet space, and the bath came with double sinks. The room had floor-to-ceiling windows with an absolutely breathtaking view over the Bodensee. Staff was all very friendly, though despite us speaking German and English, at times there were some language-based communication challenges with restaurant staff that could be improved. Our family also very much liked the breakfast buffet. It was super easy to grab a bus at a nearby bus stop to head down into town and enjoy the promenade. If there would be two things I'd love to see improve, it would be dedicated smoking / non-smoking sections for the restaurant's terrace. Like us, I noticed several other guests being disturbed by other guests smoking and taking away from what is otherwise a great outside breakfast and dining experience. The second thing, which I recognize will not be easy and certainly isn't a fault of the hotel / staff, would be to find a way to keep wasps at bay. There were plenty of wasps disturbing guests--including our kids--and it also took away from the experience while eating on the terrace. This was our first stay here and surely not our last--we look forward to coming back to this property!"

"Room is spacious, and very well-lit. However, limited parking space, standard appliance like kettle is not available, hot drinking water has to be picked up at the ground floor."

"If I could give 10 stars for the Aqua hotel, I would. The staff was absolutely fantastic! The young man at the front desk went so far above and beyond in customer service. Even after we checked out of the hotel, we were several miles away and missed our bus to Zurich so we called to ask if he could call us another taxi. Not only did he call us another taxi, he came by the bus stop to make sure we were there and didn’t miss our ride. He actually brought us water and apples. NEVER in all of our travels have we been treated so great! If we come back to Konstanz, we would only stay at the Aqua hotel. 10 stars for sure!!!"
