"The staff were so friendly and attentive. We adored the sea view room, perfect size, massive, comfortable bed and everything you need - a fridge, and wine cooked, tea, coffee etc. breakfast was delicious and had lots of options. The spa was lovely - only negative of the whole trip was the sauna was not hot enough. But it won’t put us off going back :)"

"Only small teeny weeny thing that only effected the male sex! The toilet seat did not stay up when needed, but sorted it with a piece of folded toilet paper jammed to keep it up, so no problem. the staff were brilliant and the continental breakfast was great. Nice quiet bedroom and comfy bed. We'll be back. Many thanks Donard staff."

"Great wee place. Nice and quiet and the accommodation was clean and comfortable. Host was very kind in leaving local food and a bit of milk to get you going ( great idea for a cup of tea). Also has a chap of the door where I kind man gave me half a dozen fresh eggs. They were lovely and the eggs looked like what I used to see as a kid- white, brown and light blue. "I took the train from Dublin so the two block walk was very convenient. The area is central to everything in Belfast. Even my tour to Giants Causeway was convenient - about four/five blocks to the pick up spot. Great that the Christmas market at Belfast City Hall was on as that was just a few blocks. The staff was friendly and helpful. "

"This is a stunningly beautiful hotel with amazing views. I was a bit apprehensive as it was my first time travelling with my 7 month old dog but the staff and owners were fantastic. The hotel is spotless. Smells amazing. There is a large enclosed back garden for dogs to run and enjoy. 5 resident dogs who are all beautiful and love to play. The breakfast was also delicious, great quality food, amazing service and great location for a relaxed few days away. You can walk straight onto the beach. I will definitely be back and couldn’t recommend this hotel enough "
