"Hotel is awesome and enjoyed our stay. Only bad things were 1. Dozens of tiny flys in our room and the corridor like drain flies. 2. The meal at the restaurant said a lamb shoulder which was correct but could not taste the lamb as it was spiced up with Indian flavours. "

"We’ve stayed at the Q1 several times and this room was an ocean view 2 bedroom. Fantastic apartment but with no privacy or black out blinds in the huge bathroom glass panel or in the lounge room which wasn’t ok as we couldn’t get the room cool enough with the sun blasting through and at night the whole apartment was lit up including the main bedroom with its frosted glass doors. A couple of block out blinds would make a huge difference to a great apartment for privacy and comfort. "

"It’s a great place if you are going for a tropical vibe. At times, you cannot tell that this is Gold Coast. Feels like a warm Indonesian Resort. Staff were great, greeting us every time we passed by. A few bits on the lobby roof were peeling, and some very minor scratches on the woodwork but otherwise wonderful. Bargain. "

"The entertainment for the children was exceptional. My youngest daughter has ADHD and she was involved in every single activity there was to do. As soon as she heard the mic she was out of that pool so fast waiting for the next game to start. Your staff are amazing. The pools and waterparks were so well managed to ensure safety. "Beautiful location with the most amazing ocean views, The apartment was better than I expected. Only thing I will complain about is that some of the complimentary Nescafe coffee satchels had expired 2 years ago, fridge had an off smell and some of the kitchen utensils weren't cleaned properly (egg on frypan and dirty coffee cups) Apart from those minor issues I would definitely stay here again."

"Thank you to the staff, it was lovely to be offered the use of pool & facilities until our room was ready. (We arrived early) Also when checking out we were able to keep swimming and relaxing for the day. It is an older property but I like that it was comfortable."
