"Seems like they put minimal effort into these places. Did not feel much love went into the cabin. The curtains are useless and cabin 10 that we stayed in gets blinding sunlight into the cabin in the afternoon. We had to put a towel over the window to block it to watch tv. The windows don’t have screens so you can’t open a window to cool off without letting in bugs. The bed is like sleeping on a slab of granite. The place has potential if the owners would update and put more thought into...

"If you want to experience a modernized historical property this is a good place. No TV, which was fine because we were there to hike, not sit in the room. It was odd that absolutely no staff seemed to be on the property Wednesday night through Thursday morning which was a little disconcerting. Also there was no dead bolt for the door. But it was clean and spacious. The restaurant Tuesday night provided a good meal."

"It was a good place to stay. The bed was comfortable and clean. The free breakfast was good including waffles, cereal, toast, juice, coffee, and yogurt. The staff was very nice and helpful. The only drawback was that you have to drive to get to any restaurants. This was the 2nd time that I stayed here and I would definitely stay again. "

"This was perfect for our family getaway in Leadville. The cabin had all the comforts of home with a beautiful view of Mt. Elbert.
