"Great location! It's close to the heart of the city, but not directly located on the busiest street, giving you both convenience and quiet. I love the room layout! "Booked this room for my boyfriend and i for a snowboarding trip! It was perfect for us! We didn’t need much since it was only us 2 for 4 days so the single queen bed and bathroom was perfect. The only thing i wish is there was a jacuzzi like shown in the photos. Besides that VERY friendly and kind. I got chains stuck on my tire and the manager (i assume) helped us get them unstuck. Totally recommend for a couple. "

"Our room was lovely. Even though we didn’t need it this stay, there was a loft with two extra beds and a bathroom. It would be perfect to bring the kids. Loved being close to the lake. The check in process requires you to go to a second property then come back to this property for the parking pass. It’s not a huge deal but can be time consuming if you are coming in hot on a schedule. Also, this trip, they were tearing up the parking lot, which was loud and left less parking but I assume that...

"Beautiful, convenient to ski or find great restaurant, very clean, friendly and helpful staff except one named Ivan. My room is on the sixth floor, the new year eve party on the ground level was very loud penetrating through the walls, made me hard to rest to sleep. The breakfast was basic considering the hotel price. In general a great experience. "

"Basecamp South Lake Tahoe is quaint, clean and convenient to the center of town and Heavenly Village. My kids and I stayed 2 nights. The breakfast offered in the front office/ lobby was great and surprisingly not super expensive. Bonus- they also have a water station in the lobby so you can refill water bottles if you are here to hike or ski. There are 2 hot tubs on the property… and fire pits where you can roast marshmallows or just relax. I would recommend the property. "
