"El Pao was wonderful and we enjoyed our stay. However there were some things that we did not expect. I stayed in the room with the bubble. I think it’s important to note that the only access to the room with the bubble are spiral stairs, not horrible but not also the best. I had the idea that this would be a “bed in breakfast” but because the room could only be accessed by the spiral stairs, the breakfast could not be brought up to the room. "It was a really lovely place.. modern clean and lovely!. The only downside is it’s at the side of a roundabout, but this did not spoil anything for us. It’s about 10 minutes out of Alicante town centre so we did bus and tram it in. Took about 1 hour to walk one day which is a nice walk from the marina. The owner was friendly and helpful when we couldn’t get in - go to the big white electric gate and call them! This caused some confusion for a few minutes. "

"Abdel was very helpful and was able to facilitate easy check in. Fantastic base for holiday. Situated in old town with many great restaurants nearby. The prime location allowed us easy access to all the main sites, beach, shops and restaurants. The rooms are great. I would highly recommend."

"Great place! It’s not really a hotel but rather a room en-suite with coffee-making facilities and a little fridge. Very quiet rooms, I never heard anyone, although met other guests around. Location is amazing! Literally 3 min to the seafront and about 5-10 to different key locations like Mercat, shopping streets, train station, and the castle. "Excellent value for the price paid. Great staff who helped with my queries. Good sized room, which was spotless on arrival. A tip, currently the hotel have an initiative, where if you agree that your room does not require daily cleaning you can get your breakfast free for the "no clean" days. Both tram and train stations are within a few minutes walk from the hotel. The C6 airport bus drops off/picks up from the train station."

"I would so highly recommend this accommodation! It is so incredibly well placed in the Old Town and surprisingly spacious considering the location. Rooms are modern and very clean and it is an especially nice touch that they provide cakes and coffee each morning. My only comments to make this accommodation an 11/10 would be 1) better toilet paper and 2) a mirror on the desk so I can do my makeup not- in the bathroom "
