Convenient, central location, close to downtown and universities. Simple and functional facilities, with a large kitchen and dining room and two shared bathrooms with (old-fashioned) washing machines. The rooms were large, with cupboards and drawers to organize one's things. Good idea to put keys on a hook by the door to be convenient to grab if heading down the hall. Wifi in the room worked without problems.
I never saw a staff person but the place was clean. Entrance via key code was convenient when I arrived late at night, but when I didn't see the key safe right away I tried to call and did not reach anyone. (I then found the key and all was fine.)
The walls are thin enough that even quiet sounds carry, and the electronic keys are somewhat loud. There is a flight of stairs from the entrance to the hostel.
