"We stayed in a self catering cottage. The accommodation had everything we needed, lovely bath and fireplace. It is very cold in Tulbagh in mid-winter, but the bed had cosy blankets. This is a working farm, which was fun to explore with my young son. He enjoyed playing with the farm dogs!"

We stayed in the 2 bedroom unit and were very impressed from the Smeg stove to the dishwasher, the aircon worked well and fans were much needed in the bedrooms. "We looooooved our stay at the Southern Belle, Bergsicht Cottage. By far the most private & secluded of all the cottages. We enjoyed the hot tub & the private deck, surrounded by only the sounds of nature. The fairy lights above the pool were very romantic. The cottage had everything we needed to relax & unwind. No TV which was fantastic - you come here to rest & unplug. We'll be back!"

Suffice it to say, if you need a breakaway from the hustle and bustle of the city, you cannot go wrong! It is amazing value and from the warm welcome from the owners, Venishree and Juergen to the beautiful accommodations, plush beddings, thoughtful amenities and superb service, we were so impressed after our initial 6 night stay that we booked another weekend immediately and I cannot wait to go...
