Trottel Beach is a stretch of sand with fantastic views of the Mediterranean Sea. It is one of the nearest beaches to Ajaccio’s town centre and is popular with families due to its security centre and placid waves.

Trottel Beach is on the Albert Premier Boulevard and is one of the nearest beaches to the centre of Ajaccio. Take a 10-minute taxi ride from the main port to get to the scenic stretch of sand. You will pass several historic landmarks on the journey, such as the Ajaccio Bishopric and the former home of Napoleon Bonaparte.
