"This is a B&B in an apartment building, not an actual hotel, so that was a surprise. It's also several blocks walk away from the centro storico of Tropea, so the surrounding area is full of busy apartments and streets that are distinctly uncharming. "This is a very unique hotel, it has a real 70s vibe however, don't get me wrong it also has a real charm. From the elevator down to the beach, to the tropical plants, to the hand paintings to the live music at night. Very quaint. Dinners and breakfasts were good as well. I did find they didn't speak much English and catered more to older German clients. Oh and it does have a nice view of Stromboli at night "
