"Very nice property. My only complaint is that when we checked in, we were told we got an “upgraded room” with a nice view, which we hadn’t requested. That was fine with us, the view didn’t matter to us at that hotel. What we realized that night was that ours was one of a few rooms in the hotel where the AC didn’t work. It was hot there and that has been one of a very few priorities we have when booking hotels. They brought us a fan that was loud and only mildly helpful."

"Perfect location for exploring Trier. A beautiful city with so many interesting buildings. The hotel is lovely and easy to find. The staff are friendly and helpful. Parking at 12 euros a night is a huge bonus. Public areas are very nice. Breakfast excellent with lots of choice. Our room was large, quiet, very clean and comfortable. Good wifi. Nothing to fault at all. "
