I was looking for somewhere just outside of Cardiff for a few days for a break on my way down to London, turned out to be a very convenient stay and great value too. My room was nicely heated, comfortable bed, good water pressure and clean. The Hotel has a nice bar downstairs for a Friday night drink (very quiet too). "Room was excellent but dinner in the hotel restaurant disappointing. Several dishes not on, which meant the choice was limited, and even the wine we asked for was unavailable. Wine list was London prices (but we were in South Wales). Inclusive breakfast in Penny Farthing opposite was fantastic. "Absolutely fantastic experience! The location couldn’t be better. The hotel is directly next to the train station and right at the edge of town. We asked if we could check our bags with them, but they allowed us to check into our room early instead.
