I paid something like $18\night for a decent sized room with a good balcony overlooking the local neighborhood. Super clean hotel room, and hotel overall. "Really glad I stayed at this spot. Very comfortable room, good wifi, quiet, clean. About a 5-7 min walk to some good restaurants like guava Tex-mex and green house for breakfast and deserts, or train station. Laundry place close by too"

"When I take the night train to Trang I always stay at Thumrin because it is big enough to always have a room available for early check-in. Decor and furnishings a little long in the tooth but who cares at this price. Corner rooms have nice view but all the windows can challenge the air-con."

"An amazing place to stay. So beautifully designed, gorgeous garden and views, and stylish comfortable rooms. The rooms are so fresh and clean and smell divine. The staff are so lovely.
