"Amazing hotel with top quality food at the restaurant! Hotel was clean and staff was super friendly. Parking at or around the hotel is a bit challenging, but they provide a personal valet service to park your car for you and it’s pretty convenient. Access to the beach is a little bit of a challenge… You either take a shuttle from the hotel (runs every hour), or walk down 250 steps down the side of the hill to get to a street area by the water… We only stayed there one night, but I would recommend it if you’re in the Vico Equense area or wanted to stay outside of Sorrento/Naples. It’s also a quick 25-30 mins drive to Pompeii which is the main reason why we stayed there! "

"HVF was incredible! The staff was so kind, always anticipating your needs and staying one step ahead of you. The food was excellent, especially LiGalli (Michelin Star restaurant). Breakfast was delicious too. Cocktails and food were more expensive here but worth it for the views. I’m convinced it’s the best location in Positano, perched high above overlooking both beaches but not so far you can’t easily reach shopping and dining. The views are indescribable. Our room was on the 4th floor overlooking the city and ocean. Truly magical. Only downside was we were near the elevator which had a beeping noise and also the rooftop bar was noisy until they closed around midnight. The rooftop pool was excellent for a hot summer day but the umbrellas were heavy and difficult to move to get shade. The bed was comfortable, balcony worth every penny and the bathroom nicely appointed. All in all we loved it and would come back in a heartbeat. "
