"We made a last minute bookng here and the owner stayed up until 1am fpr us to arrive whuch was much appreciated. They also stored to luggage for us after we left which was very accommodating. Lovely hotel and wish we could have stayed longer to use the spa which looled great!"

"What a gem! We had a lovely 2-night stay at Alparthotel surrounding one day of skiing at Champery. The hotel is lovely, quiet, and clean. It is an easy walk from the Chemin de Verger bus stop. We did not have a car and were able to walk to a Coop nearby (grocery store and restaurant). The rooms were comfortable and modern. Would definitely recommend!"

"Overall, this place was fantastic. The hotel did not disappoint. Only complaint is we were in the area during the “off season”, and all the surrounding businesses were essentially closed. But the breakfast alone at this hotel is reason enough to go back if I ever find myself in Switzerland again. "

"Pretty setting. Hotel restaurant is apparently good but we were unable to make a reservation. Communication was difficult as the staff exclusively spoke French and were unable to communicate with us in English, German or Italian - while we were able to understand the gist, it is surprising for a hotel that presumably attracts a diverse clientele. No hairdryer in room and WiFi was unreliable. Overall it is surprising that the hotel has a 4 star rating as that was not our experience."

"I adore this hotel - we always stay here when hiking in the area. It’s beautifully decorated and cozy and the spa is excellent. I highly recommend this hotel. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Champery ! "

"Weather was perfect, the location is amazing. You do not need a car as the train station is next fo the hotel and the village has superb transport to get around to the mountains and restaurants. Everything is close enough to walk within 10 mins and the view is breathtaking being surrounded by mountains."

"The staff were very friendly and informative and facilities were very good. Cinema is a bonus with extensive film choice. Allso we were all very impressed with the standard and creativity of food offered by Jamie the chef. I would highly recommend this property and has great access to the slopes really is a jewel in the Swiss alps we will definitely return!"

However, what truly stood out and made all the difference was the service provided by a porter named Angelo. Angelo went above and beyond to ensure our experience was exceptional. He helped us in every way possible—and even in ways you wouldn’t expect. He is fantastic, and his dedication and professionalism truly elevate the hotel experience. "Attached to the thermal baths and Nordic Spa is super convenient (access included in hotel rate). Staff try really hard to make it a pleasant experience. The rooms are reasonably up to date, though the bathrooms are smallish, particularly the showers. Dining options are slightly limited with the onsite buffet and the nearby Chalet a la carte Swiss traditional food. The included breakfast was decent basic offering, not high end. Overall a very pleasant and convenient way to do the Bains. "

"I travelled here with my wife and my two children (3&5). We arrived a bit late in the day, and hadn't had lunch. Once we had mentioned we were hungry, the hotel staff phoned up the local pizza restaurant and sorted us out. The staff were simply amazing.
