"I stayed here as I was running a training session the next day at this venue. The hotel is quite old and the decor reflects this. I was in room 302 which was pleasant. Ensuite was good, large shower. Room had a desk, as well as a occasional table with 2 chairs. TV in room was okay but channel guide button on control did not work."

"Nice enough hotel, the rooms were a little small so probably best to opt for premium if you require bigger room. The room standard was on a par with premier inn apart from bed not quite so comfy. The hotel had a leisure club with pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. All again were small but as it wasn't that busy it was ok. "Quite a nice quiet place but not worth anything like what they charge. There were stains on the bed covers which they came and changed straight away. "A little night away with my partner , lovely hotel and grounds , we stayed in the blue room which they call the stables it’s separate from the main hotel . Lovely room all that you need is provided in the room . They don’t provide dinner but on their website you can find restaurants that are close by to book also breakfast is not included in with the room however you can purchase breakfast if you wish too . Overall a lovely little hotel with very friendly staff that make you feel very welcome.....

"Nervous to visit after reading reviews. However, there is a lot of refurbishment going on. The downstairs looks fabulous and the car park/outside space is being worked on. The room was ropey, window held open with a block of wood and a pane of glass missing. Curtains not hanging correctly and a socket out. But, we arrived when they were busy and so checking in was delayed. The staff apologised for wait, and the room! The breakfast was absolutely banging and the staff were exceptional. Helpful...
