"We had a warm welcome from the owner, and the apartment we stayed in was a good size, with a separate bedroom and living/kitchen area. The apartment is above a garage (separate to the rest of the hostel) and below the owners living area. The kitchen was mostly well equipped, with a microwave, oven, hob, filter coffee machine, dishwasher and washing machine, plenty of crockery and pans. "Room was cold in arrival and air con unit wouldn't put heat out. Central heating came on a few hrs later thank god. Pet lizard scurrying around the room. Not alarming for us but we're used to quirky places on our travels but some might find it so.
