Worst Hotel Ever
The worst hotel i have stayed in. On arrival they could not find my booking so I had to call Hotels.com centre only to find out they don't have the app down loaded yet. So that had to be done. Then i was told they don't take any credit cards but was advertised they do. So needed to go to bank for cash. The hotel is very old & they are trying to repair. I should of been told in advance before booking. My room was large but very old & dusty. The furniture has not been moved in ages. WIFI is poor & does not connect in room. Aircon comes on but blows warm air. The staff tried to fix. At bed time I could feel insect moving in bed. When I put light on there they were. I took pics & when to fron desk to show them. They just had a good laugh as they were too busy watching soccer on TV. I took bug spray & had to kill insects myself. This hotel should be taken off Hotels.com site. I should get a refund. Food was poor & very little offered at breakfast. Will never stay there again

Seen its best days
Big hotel getting a bit past its sell-by date. Lots of equipments in the room don't work ( fridge, lights,water heater) but bed is comfortable, rooms at the back are quiet. Breakfast is very moderate. didn't have time to try the pool and gym facilities.Wifi was useless.

Sad state of affairs for once splendid place
Poor welcome by disinterested staff. I booked a twin room only to be given a double but that was changed. Seemed to be huge amounts of refurbishment going on around us but saw no one at work but all was very dusty. No water to toilet on 3 occasions and shower first didn't work then only cold water..... I could go on... Food very slow, bar staff didn't know their job....poorest place in 3 weeks in Uganda

For Bug Lovers Only
The hotel at one time must have been a great place to stay, but not now. If you are an entomologist and love bugs, this place is for you. Just about every window was broken. Many tiles on the floor are broken. Dirty,dirty, dirty. Waitress tried to boost the price of a 20 schilling bottle of wine to 50 schillings. Front staff tried to double bill me for the room. Service overall was worst than bad. NOTHING like what it is advertised. I would have rather stay in the vehicle we were traveling in than to pay to stay in this place. Show was so limed up that almost no water came out. Stay away at all costs.
