"Had a great time staying here, we received great service the entire time, including in-room massages and a very long list of restaurant and cafe recommendations. The hotel is walking distance to the center of Palermo and lots of great places to eat, but options on the same street are limited. This was fine for us but may not be the best choice for others who want to have restaurants and shops immediately accessible upon walking out of the hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable. "

"Highly recommended! The experience is really amazing. From a typical southern Italy family, my friend appreciated the fab traditional decorations in the shared space once entering the living room. The room is spacious with two beds. The neighbourhood is quiet. Everything is clean and well equipped. Gabriele also suggested a very nice dinner place for us which was very delicious! We will be back when visiting Palermo again :) "

"B&B Cubbaita is a lovely place to stay! Salvatore and the team are very friendly and welcoming and the rooms are modern, bright and comfortable. It’s a bit of an experience getting up to the room, especially the lift, but this added some fun to our trips out, and the two or three doors to get to the room made us feel completely safe. "The property was perfect for what we needed at this point in our vacation - relaxing and a nice pool to cool down in after a hot day touring the Valley of the Temples. "Absolutely awesome place. Big, clean rooms well located. Great staff and great breakfast. I didn’t like having to book a breakfast slot but understand why they do it. I also had a “quiet” room but I could still hear the music from the bar, that said I put earplugs and promptly went to sleep. Definitely would stay again. "

" We had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Grand Hotel et Des Palmes in Palermo for two weeks in January 2025, and it was an unforgettable experience. The hotel's rich history as a former castle has been beautifully preserved, and its stunning architecture and decor only added to our enchantment. But what truly made our stay exceptional was the warm and welcoming staff. The entire front desk team and concierge were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. Special mention must be made of Marina, who introduced us to some of the most authentic and wonderful local Sicilian gems, hidden away from the usual tourist trails. Her insider knowledge and passion for the region were invaluable, and we felt like we experienced the real Sicily thanks to her recommendations and professionalism. Bruno, too, was a huge help, assisting us in finding our way around the city and providing us with expert advice. His kindness and expertise made a significant difference to our stay, and we're so grateful to have had him as a resource. The cleanliness of the room was beyond our expectations, and the breakfast in the morning was complete and nutritional. What struck us most, however, was the hotel's reputation among the locals. Every time we mentioned the hotel's name to anyone in Palermo, their response was and full of fond memories.
