"Short walk or taxi from hotel to the ferry landing that takes you around Lake Chiemsee, that allows for a quieter, more relaxing lake experience. Included breakfast buffet was in a beautiful setting. ALL staff were so friendly and helpful. Room had a nice balcony, overlooking the marina, and the lake. Highly recommend!"

"This property is in a very picturesque location right on the water. Many people have weddings here and I can see why. The rooms were spacious and modern with a large bathroom/shower. The breakfast was great with a large selection of lunch meats, cheeses, eggs, breads coffees and teas. "

"Excellent place to stay! The staff there was excellent! Although we had a bit of a language problem (my German is rusty and the staff did not speak much English) Our stay was wonderful. Great place to stay if you are heading to Herrenchiemsee or Frueninsel (I recommend both!). The cost was lower than staying in Prien. Parking in Gstadt was a short walk to the ferry. "I was due to arrive on Friday 27th Jan due to my 11 yr old son collapsing at school and being diagnosed with a serious heart condition I had to cancel the trip. The hotel refused a refund and when Expedia approached them on my behalf, they did not answer their phone or e-mails. Terrible customer service."

"In der Ankündigung war von Kaffee und Obst in der Gemeinschaftsküche die Rede... Nichts von allem war vorhanden. Eine Toilette war kaputt, dadurch nur ein komplettes Bad für das gesamte Haus (ca. 20 Personen). Haus ist auf dem Berg gelegen - für Radfahrer schwierig. Alles in allem sehr einfach und anonym. "

Nice Stay

"We had a nice stay at the Imlauer & Brau. Food was great at both breakfast & dinner. The hotel staff were so wonderful & went out of their way to help us. The beds were super comfy. My only complaint was there was no lotion, the shampoo was a combo shampoo/body wash & the shower had only a tiny glass partition so the floor was covered in water after every shower. We took advantage of an eco-conservation program to skip a day of housekeeping in return for a 5€ voucher to use toward snacks or the restaurant. Brilliant! "

"Close to main station. Easy to drop bags and go from station. Staff very friendly. Room clean and comfortable. Does get warm though as no AC on in the cooler months and temp was high for end of October. Pool nice but small. Plenty of towels available. Would definitely stay again. "

"It was a quick stay for our family (2 adults and 2 kids) but we found the beds to be really comfortable and the morning breakfast was excellent! The person at the front desk was really helpful and happy to provide tips and suggestions on what to do for the day we wanted to spend in Salzburg. I recommend!"
