"Beautiful grounds, friendly staff and our room had a great view of the mountains. Definitely recommend this place over staying in town! And it’s close enough to walk around town should you choose to do so! "

"This hotel is amazing! Our room was huge even the bathroom, staff was friendly and helpful. Bed was so comfy and after long days of driving and hiking this room is just what we needed. Breakfast was great too."

"This hotel is a perfect location if you’re doing the obvious stuff (Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Needles Highway, Custer, etc.). The room was clean and totally fine. The drawback to the room for us was really we didn’t like the pillows. They were too soft for my liking. Additionally, the tv in the room is super small. But, are you really staying at the hotel to watch TV? I HOPE NOT! The included breakfast was good overall as well. The people who worked the desk each time I stopped by were GREAT as well. Would I stay here again? Absolutely! We didn’t eat at any of the restaurants near the hotel but there are a few as well. It’s a super short drive up to Mt. Rushmore as well. Great place "

"This is probably the nicest budget friendly hotel I’ve ever stayed at.
Nestled in Hill City, 20-30 minutes away from all the big attractions.
The staff were so friendly and helpful.
The rooms were clean and cozy.
The beds were sooo comfortable!
My husband gives the showers 10/10. He is a shower snob!
The full breakfast was filling every morning. My kids loved the waffle makers with the extra toppings provided.
There is a fire pit to sit around at night and make s’mores if you want.
The staff offered carrots to field the wild donkeys in Custer state park.
My kids loved the indoor pool.
There aren’t enough good things I can say about this place.
The little down town is about a two minute drive to cute coffee shops (stop by Elizabeth’s)
The only thing to note is there is not an elevator for the second floor. We called the hotel before we arrived and they so kindly accommodated us with a first floor room.
If we ever travel Back this way again we will definitely stay here!
