"Blocks off the beach. Beach sand coral and coarse. Host is responsive and provides a concierge. Access to surfing spots. Seasonal temperature and humidity is bordering intolerable. Political graffiti is ever present. Beautiful islands, third world charm. Overwhelming Muslim environment, including social restrictions. "Lovely hotel with fantastic helpful friendly staff. Room great and spotlessly clean. Excellent food in the restaurant. Very quiet and peaceful when we visited. Thulusdhoo is a quiet local island, no alcohol available but that was no problem for us."
