"Australian family with 8 and 11 yr olds. A very mixed experience with staff hence that part of the review: Naturalist guide Abilash and birding was amAzing. Guest relations manager very attentive. Restaurant staff borderline unfriendly. Lots of miscommunication from bookings person that led to a lot of avoidable stress and triple check if they have availbility during peak times even if Expedia says they have plenty of tents avail. "We flipping loved Tall Trees, everything from the staff, restaurant, accommodation, location and surroundings. A global agency cocked up on our booking but the TTR team saved the day with the minimum of fuss and most amount of care. Would recommend to couples and families alike. "

"We recently enjoyed a two-day stay at Amberdale Hotel, and it was fantastic. The hotel offers several experiences for guests, including a morning short trek, a hike to a tea estate, and a visit to a nearby waterfall. We also loved the tea tasting, evening snacks, and the cozy night bonfire. Situated on a hilltop, our valley view room was breathtaking, showcasing beautiful tea plantations. The room was cool, cozy, and luxurious, with excellent amenities and a lovely walk-out balcony. The hotel also features a recreation area perfect for hanging out with friends. Additionally, the food was delicious, and the spa services were a nice touch (couldn't experience though). Overall, we had a wonderful stay, making it a great choice for everyone, especially couples. Highly recommend!"

"Situated amidst the lush tropical forests of Kerala's western high ranges, the hotel is at an altitude of around 3500 ft. Weather is pleasant with occasional drizzle and turns refreshingly chilly in the afternoons accompanied by mists that envelop both the hotel and its surroundings. Named aptly as "Scenic," the property offers breathtaking views of mountains and valleys, with mornings serenaded by the chirping of birds. There is a yoga deck, pool, and spa, where traditional Ayurvedic massages can be done. Rooms are spacious, some featuring private swimming pools and balconies. At this moment only one restaurant is operational at the property with a buffet breakfast and ala carte lunch and dinner options. Munnar town is 30 minutes away. Staff are polite and friendly though some need a bit more training and the property management needs to focus on this. Linens, towels are fresh, new and clean. I will highly recommend this property and look forward to our next visit to Scenic. "
