"The rooms were incredibly spacious – it felt like we had our own one-bedroom apartment, complete with a living room and kitchen. During our stay, it was windy for a few days due to winds coming from the north. However there was no wind on the other side of the island which was 20 mins drive so went there. (faliraki beach). "

"The property has 2 buildings, one closer to the village centre and another one with direct access to the beach. We were lucky to be by the Gaia beach just opposite ours, which has a nicer swimming pool and a bar/restaurant, which is very good and part of the hotel management. The main restaurant is in the building close to the village centre and they do offer a very brief transfer between the two with an electric car at breakfast and dinner time. "The hotel was modern, clean and tidy. The room was small but suitable for a 1 night stay. Staff on reception during check-in were not very friendly and charged me for the room, even though I had paid by using my saved vouchers. This was rectified later in the day by the manager. There was no secure place to leave luggage and we were told that we could just put our bags outside the gym. Not ideal and didn't want to leave our belongings in such a public area. "Such a lovely, family run hotel. So much more personal and quiet compared to the bigger, 4 & 5 star hotels. We were really glad we picked the Caravel. Huge room (apartment), great food and pool and just over the road from the sea. The owners were incredibly friendly, sorted out some last minute euros for us and booked probably the best taxi service we’ve ever had! All the good reviews were spot on. "

"Had an amazing week at the Haraki Villas. Slightly delayed check in but this gave us time to explore the surroundings before settling in. Location is perfect, quiet, only a short walk to the seafront, where there are amazing restaurants, and a gorgeous view from the terrace and garden. Only minus point was the limited hot water."

"It’s a nice looking villa but the super loud air conditioners all around make it impossible to sleep or feel well. Don’t stay here. The owner is rude and only cares about getting paid. He feels the guests should tolerate extreme noise. He could easily install new AC units."

"The Valentino offers a basic clean room and property with pool for a reasonable price… Good value for the money…UNLESS You are a non-smoker and cannot stand to be near smoke. The manager and family are very friendly, but they hang out in the lobby all day and evening and smoke nonstop while they watch TV. The lobby could otherwise be a nice place to sit and play cards or visit over a drink as it has nice furniture. But the family takes over the lobby with the loud TV…and smoke. So beware if you...

"This property is located in the medieval part of Rhodes and is very unique and convenient. The room all slightly different going that boutique feel. The staff was amazing and the food was delicious. I felt safe even though there was a severe storm on the island and the generator was pretty seamless. "

"The staff were so helpful especially when it came to my daughter’s dietary requirements, with plenty of choice for her. You did not have to wait for the staff to help with anything you needed. The food was of a very high standard with a great selection of restaurants. The location was wonderful with great sea views and very clean throughout. Close to Rhodes old town if you wanted to venture and also not a far transfer from the airport. Lovely entertainment on an evening. An extremely good all inclusive Hotel overall. "

"First time to rhodes and i was very impressed. The hotel is beautiful, clean and modern, tradional style bedroom (i think) but very spacious, very comfortable bed. Every single staff member was happy, always smiling and very helpful. All the food was amazing, great decent drinks and a huge choice of cocktails. I absolutely could not fault one thing. Great sea view room. Walking distance to new town where theres lots of bars, restaurants and shops. And not really much further to old town. If you don't mind maybe 20 mins walk. We will definitely be back. Thank you. Hope all the staff had a great last night closing meal and party, i am sure you have all worked very hard"
