"The hotel was easy to find, even in the dark when I arrived. The staff gave a good traditional Irish welcome, being very helpful. Everything about the hotel was clean and welcoming, very good selection for breakfast and evening meals. "

"We loved our stay at the historic Clone House! The room was beautiful and cozy. Felt welcomed by the staff and the breakfast was delicious. It ended up being a last minute booking as our previous booking canceled and this was our favorite stay in Ireland by far!"

"We are first time visitors to Ireland and the Murphy’s Hotel, for our first night in Ireland, was exactly what I was hoping for as a traditional Irish hotel/pub in a small out of the way village. "While a few things could use a little updating, everything was very clean and the owners were absolutely fantastic. We checked in late send out early, so we didn’t have time to enjoy the extensive property. It was a quiet, family friendly location, and breakfast was absolutely amazing. Some of the best food we had while in Ireland."

"What a charming bed and breakfast! First the friendly staff makes you feel very welcomed to start. Then the clean comfortable spacious room and the lovely bed makes you feel home. And they immediately refresh you with some tea and cake soon after your arrival. The breakfast was lovely, and the swing on the front, the trail behind the house... All wonderful! I also ordered the picnic for the hike, and it had enough to feed four for just the two of us. I would definitely recommend."

" luxury period house nice and comfortable. It is quite small and cosy But very very quite so guests tended to talk very low and the atmosphere was a bit stiff , nice to go if your looking for a bit of peace and quiet. The breakfast: I had pancakes off the hot food menu, they were inedible , soggy and burnt . continental buffet small but what was on offer was fresh. breads were not nice, cheap sliced pan toast, and plain soda bread , no other healthy options . No tea or coffee making facilities...

"The area was beautiful and the few staff we encountered were courteous. The bunkroom we stayed in had dirty blue pillowcases, fitted sheets, and duvets. This is a shared room hostel which is a great way to meet people from around the world. The wifi was so weak we had to either sit at reception or not have access. Just like any other hostel, you rent towels and strip your own beds of the white linens you place there prior to sleep. The building wasn't well maintained and there was no sound limit...

"Great location. Good bars and restaurants nearby, easy walk to Grafton Street. Staff attentive and helpful. Room a good size with a big bathroom, very quiet with comfy bed and pillows. Breakfast plentiful let down by the cooking, bacon boiled susages burnt on one side, hollandaise split. "
