"The Oriental Residency is a good hotel to consider when visiting Mumbai. The rooms are comfortable with aircon, wifi, and flat screen TV. The meals from The Soul Restaurant were delicious and the staff are courteous . Location was good for me as I was in Mumbai for dental surgery and it's 5 minutes walking distance to Dentzz Dental. For anyone on a budget, the Oriental Residency is a great hotel to consider."

"The hotel’s location is very convenient , especially if you are going to the caves and explore the historical sites. The staff is really helpful and friendly. Thumbs up for our driver ! Javits was super helpful, polite, reliable and affordable . He picked us up at the airport, took us around for 2 full days , and even took us to a local restaurant, where we met Ali, the friendly owner, and we had the most delicious indian meals. "worst ever experience to recommend to anyone. Bath room was horrible no windows to the room, we suffocated. Please dont advertise this kind of hotel on expedia or any internet services. It totally misleads. Charges are too much and much better hotels are available close by to this hotel like OYO which are much cleaner and much cheaper. Tried to call and talk to the hotel owner and he was not available to talk. . "

"Hotel is part of a different chain OYO flagship. So although I had a reservation made through Orbitz, the reservation wasn’t appearing on the hotel reservation under new flagship. "Found hotel easily, short taxi ride from airport (400 rupees). Convenient and we had a late (after midnight) checkin. No issues, tho I had phoned ahead to tell them we would be coming so late. The bathroom smelled after we had all showered (4 of us), but otherwise the family room was comfortable and what we needed for a 1 night stay."
