"This was my first time in Italy and first time in Europe in 24 years. I chose this place because of the location not being close to the city and the great amenities. Located in a nice little town of 122 people with its own church next door, this hotel was perfect. Staff was extremely nice and could not have had a better stay"

"This is a real medieval castle! You travel in time when staying at Giomici. The hosts are a wonderful team, excellent communication and service. The room was comfortable and super-clean. We stayed once for the supper, it was tasty and reasonably priced. The breakfast was plenty and fresh. The locally produced coffee was a nice surprise."

"This hotel was in a wonderful location. It was a stone's throw away from the city center, but far enough away that you weren't disturbed by noise. The breakfast was good, the room spacious, clean and the shower was perfect. There was always coffee in the morning and be sure to stop by the restaurant for authentic Italian cuisine. "Gorgeous location looking high over the countryside of Gubbio. The on site restaurant was delicious. Loved the shaved truffles and cream sauce pasta. The pool also provided a nice refreshing dip after the heat of walking around Gubbio (though the required disposable swimming cap was a bit odd). "

"At the arrival time (4:40pm) the heating was not working. My room was cold and the bathroom had no hot water. The staff came and after three and half hours, it has started working. I was moved into another room with hot water, but the heating was off. Still, the room was not warm till 8:15pm. The staff was supportive, but they should have checked the heating before my arrival. The location is great and the breakfast is offered at a small pastry (200m from the property)."
