Die Aussicht ist vielleicht den Preis wert. Ansonsten konnten wir am altmodischen Beachhotel nicht viel Besonderes finden. Die großen Zimmer sind mit Teppich bis auf den Balkon und dunklen Möbeln in Holzoptik gestaltet. Die Betten sind so weich, dass man mit Rückenschmerzen aufwacht und die Matratze rutscht vom Bett. Der Balkon zur Seeseite wäre sehr schön, wenn er nicht Abends hell erleuchtet würde bis irgendwann jemand an der Rezeption den Schalten betätigt. Man kann bei Regen oder starkem Wind auch nicht draußen sitzen, da es nicht geschützt genug ist. Das Zimmer hat eine Tür zum Balkon mit der man lüften kann. Dies ist auch nötig, da es keine Klimaanlage gibt. Lüften ist etwas schwierig, weil auf dem Flur die Luft steht und es reinregnet, wenn die Tür aufsteht. Positiv zu erwähnen ist der sehr große Safe im Schrank. Den Spa-Bereich findet man im Hotel nebenan im Untergeschoss. Der Pool ist sehr groß und das Wasser sehr warm. Die Anlage macht den Eindruck eines Schwimmbads und ist bestimmt super für Familien mit Kindern. Zum Entspannen oder Bahnen schwimmen eignet sich der Pool mit Wellenanlage eher nicht. Bademäntel leihen kostet übrigens 10€. Das Frühstück fanden wir in Ordnung, aber noch nicht gut. Der Kaffee ist unerträglich und die warmen Speisen eher kühl. Es gibt aber diverse leckere Säfte und auch sonst eine ganz gute Auswahl. Das Hygienekonzept ließ zu wünschen übrig. Käse und Wurst kann man sich einzeln auf kleinen mit Folie abgedeckten Tellern nehmen. Aber wa

Moeilijk afstand houden tijdens ontbijt/lopen naar de kamer. aangeraden trap te nemen, trap is amper meter breed. Erg warm in traphuis en op gang, tekenen van weinig ventilatie? Personeel erg vriendelijk. Hotel kan niet veel dichter bij zee.

This is a hotel with prime sea-front location and well-furnished, decent sized rooms. At check-in I was given a room which had an over-powering smell which I found dis-tasteful. I returned to reception who cheerfully gave me an alternative room, which had the same smell albeit less intense. We surmised it was over-enthusiastically applied cleaning product. the complimentary toiletries were not replenished during my 4 day stay, and the water glasses were not cleaned or replaced. I would expect better. The front of house staff are all very courteous and helpful, but overall I felt this was not particularly good value for money. One does not expect an unpleasant smell in a hotel which costs this much!

Great place to stay. Even handy if you are doing business in Amsterdam. Stayed here when attending a conference at the RAI Amsterdam. Would stay again.

We booked an ocean view comfort room...the room was just as stated. Lovely sea view and comfortable beds. The room needed air con, we asked for a fan and the reception provided one within 30 minutes. Tea / coffee making facilities in the room would have made the stay just a little bit better, as we like a cup of tea in the evening and didn’t want to go out for it.

The rooms are dated and small (heavy dark furniture ) with little room between the desk and bed. Beds are very low but comfortable. the staff will move two beds together and make one bed, which sleeps much better. I appreciated the balcony and beach view. Breakfast although good, is overpriced. Staff is very professional and helpful. I would stay here again!

Superb location and staff
the Beach hotel's main attraction is that it is on the beach (beautiful view if you stay on the beach side) and its connection to Hotel Oranje with a swimming pool/sauna, etc. It is dated in many ways (no coffee/tea maker in the rooms since the electricity net cannot take it) but I found it to be quite comfortable and the service impeccable. The walls are not the thickest (can hear people next door) but cannot follow conversations as you can elsewhere. I had a comfort suite; bathroom is quite small, the hand soap the smallest I've ever seen and the wash cloth was made of paper. the other amenities were great however. The rim of the bathtub is quite high; the height may be difficult for those with mobility issues. Very dark furniture. Breakfast was outlandishly expensive; we only took it Sunday morning but it was 23 euros per person. It did have many choices (hot/cold) but was overpriced. The downtown, including a supermarket, of the village is a 5 minutes walk away ; the dunes are 5 minutes in the other direction. We will definitely stay there again (but take breakfast elsewhere). Restaurant Dutch was great : excellent food, service excellent

On the beach
The hotel is very nice and well managed. It's part of the Hotel Oranje complex so you get to use all the facilities with the other hotel. Breakfast is a little repetitive so unless you know you will want breakfast every day, it'd just pay whenever you go. The area is nice and in the summer would be lovely by the beach. Bus connections into Leiden/Den Haag are great and very easy. I was there for work, which was a little more tricky as taxis are expensive and infrequent. Overall a lovely start from a few days.

The hotel is extremely dated. There is no AC. Customer service is terrible. The wall lights by my bed were not even screwed into the wall. It was way overpriced. It is scheduled for demolition .

Right on the beach so beautiful in the Summer I would imagine. We went to Keukenhoff which was just a bus ride away. Staff were lovely and very helpful, all in all a lovely stay

Beach Hotel that's Amazing.
3rd time to stay at this property. The employees are super kind and helpful. We have been able to do an early check in each time. Location is amazing as it's near the beach and has ocean view. Plenty of shops, restaurant and boardwalk just outside your door.
