"I would give the Dunvegan a 6 star if I could. The staff are the single most friendliest and helpful staff I have ever had the pleasure to interact with. Loved the bar and the staff there. Food was delicious. Service was fantastic. The room staff was awesome. Breakfast was a treat. Our rooms were exactly as I envisioned with a hotel of this age. So cozy and charming. "Our room was clean and comfortable with a lovely ensuite bathroom. Location is brilliant - about a 20 metre walk and you’re on the Old Course!! Parking was easy and free nearby. Be aware that, quite typically of St Andrew’s, there is no lift so make sure you’re up to climbing stairs and also getting your luggage up and down yourself! Staff were friendly, breakfast was excellent. Definitely recommend!!"

"Great location in one of the most picturesque villages in Scotland. The 18th hole is just outside the back door and the road hole is right there too. Great for a peaceful early morning walk, even if you aren't a golfer. The stroll down the street along water to the ancient cathedral is a beautiful walk as well. Overall the food, location and room were first rate and some of the best accommodations we had in our week in Scotland."
