"Couldn't really fault for the price paid. Modern and spotless. Good location for the town, and very friendly helpful staff. All good. Nice boozer too. Public parking around the corner - and its free! Downside is its often full during the day - better to wait until after 5pm if you can. There are plenty of other parking options around the town. All personal preference - but a later check out would have been nice; we are not 10am people!"

"A bit off the beaten track with the last 2 miles being up a single vehicle road but the effort to get there is rewarded with the isolation that one can enjoy. Ideal as a walking base and this time for us as was part business we were often having to use the car to go into cardigan which spoils the purpose of being more country bound."

"I had a perfect one night stay. The room is clean and airy (I hate stuffy hotel rooms), bed is comfy, bathroom is excellent, wifi is good, i connected to the tv and watched films while working on my laptop. Great for a business stop and would be ideal for a relaxing couple stop. Breakfast to the room was perfect for me too. Thank you Isobel. "

"We didn't quite understand the check in process nor the lock box. We had made the reservation earlier that day and were unable to get email. Once we did and texted, it was explained how to enter and all was well. Worked very well for us."

"This is a wonderful manor hotel in the Welsh countryside. The staff were wonderful and so was the food. The room was spacious and well appointed. The only draw back is there is no lift so you will have to carry your luggage up stairs. "

"Great hosts who were very friendly and informative. stayed 1 night in this beautiful old building full of character. Bedroom lovely bed very comfy with a beautiful shared bathroom ..luckily we were the only guests so had it to ourselves. Would have preferred a lock on our bedroom door especially if the other rooms had been full. "

"We were greeted by the most friendly gentleman, who checked us in, offered to take our bags and showed us to our room. He asked if we would like a table for dinner and invited us to join in with the quiz. The food was delicious, the waiting staff knowledgeable, chatty and even the other customers were friendly too. "Stayed here a few times in different rooms. This one was different again. Set up in a type of annex little cottage external at the side of the hotel. Didn’t know what to expect but pleasantly surprised. Lovey warm and spacious double room and on suite. Like a little one bed cottage. Road noise wasn’t too bad seeming the lane was close to the main road. Warm and secure all amenities there. Nice little hotel and always happy here. Breakfast had changed to between 0730-0830. Very short time frame....

"Myself, my 11 year old and our young dog spent our October half term on the farm and had a very lovely and relaxing stay. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, they respected our privacy and didn't mind that our dog was a bit excited by all the farm animals (all of whom had loads of character!)
