"Really beautiful hotel - I’ve stayed here twice now and loved it both times. It will always be my go-to when booking a trip to London. The staff are all so attentive and seem genuinely happy in their work. I’ve not met a single rude or miserable member of staff while staying here. They are all welcoming and can’t do enough for you. The only thing I would suggest, and need to try to remember myself next time, is to see if there is a room available away from the lift. Both times I’ve stayed here, my room has been directly across from the lift so this can be noisy when people get out. It doesn’t disturb you through the night, and it wasn’t a problem I felt I needed to raise at the time, but next time I think I’d ask for a room further away just for that extra bit of comfort. Again, it isn’t like a cheap hotel where you are woken up through the night by drunk people coming and going, so you won’t be disturbed by it too much. Absolutely wonderful hotel!"

"I have stayed at the Clayton (and previously the Apex) many times over the years and it is constantly reliably good which I cannot say of other hotels I have stayed in. Only problems are the aircon where the minimum temperature is 19c which is often too warm and the Wifi system which knocks out my email. Still my first choice."

"We have stayed at Club Quarters City many times but this was the first time since the hotels 2024 refurbishment was completed. The refurbishment is excellent....... both in design and execution. Staff (as always) were most helpful and attentive. Would highly recommend this hotel. "
