Michelle, Wilber, King, Kobe, Tanisha—everyone was so kind, and once they found out I was traveling solo, they always checked on me. Michelle even helped me find someone to do my hair! Their warmth made my stay unforgettable. About Hopkins Village: This isn’t just a place to visit; it’s a place to experience. Everyone smiles at you, everyone is kind—just make sure you’re kind back. It’s a humble beachside village full of love, culture, and flavor, and that’s what makes it special. A Few Things to Know: 🔹 No full-length mirror in my room—something to keep in mind if that matters to you. 🔹 The restaurant closes about an hour after check-in (around 4:30 PM), so if you’re arriving late, grab some food beforehand or wait until dinner at 6. Other than that, this stay was exactly what I needed. If you’re looking for a resort where you’re treated like family, where the people truly care, and where you can reconnect with yourself in a beautiful, peaceful setting, this is the place. "The resort is beautiful! Lovely grounds with rainforest surrounding and opportunities to view wildlife on the property. Amazing waterfall hikes. The staff were so caring and involved in our stay. They made certain that we understood the trails and where we were going. The Wild Fig restaurant was very good with several options each night. We stayed in a basic room. It wasn’t fancy, but it was clean and comfortable. We had an amazing experience! If you are looking for an adventure in the rainforest, this is your place! Highly recommend!"
