"This was a beautiful property. There seemed to be construction happening around the hotel but it did not take away from our experience. It is a bit isolated but we were able to book private transportation to and from the hotel. "

"Pros: Amenities are awesome and rooms great. More like an AirBnB than a villa. Downsides: No toothbrushes. 1500 Baht cleaning fee when you leave, they make you pay for electricity... ended up paying an additional $200 unexpectedly as I did not read the fine print. Price isn't as great with this in mind. Quite far from anything nearby. Stay here if you plan to stay in mostly and drink at the pool - not great for local beaches, tourist sights, or restaurants."

"One night before we flew back to Bangkok. They made sure our rooms were close together, they were super efficient at the front desk and all the staff performed their duties in a professional manner. Located on the beach, 10 minutes from the airport you can’t beat this place if you need to catch an early flight the next morning. "

"Check in was a nightmare my room was not ready I waited over 2 hours and I was given a room I didn’t choose. My room didn’t have towels it took them 2 hours to bring any. I would call the lobby 2-3 times no answer I wouldn’t stay here again "

"Khaolak Merlin Resort is one of the most beautiful resorts we have stayed in. The rooms are nestled amongst an amazing rainforest with water features everywhere. We shared our own free form pool with only a few other rooms. The beach was great for swimming and very clean - much better than anything we encountered in Phuket."
