"We didn’t get the house we originally paid for, the house stunk , had a spiral staircase, one of the doors didn’t lock, the bedrooms only had a lamp, also the electrical outlets were a little scary. The downstairs bathroom did not have a doorknob.We stayed here only because this was the second time of a rental company switching houses on us in this area. Not a pleasant experience during Christmas break."

"I like that this hotel is in an area that everything is in walking distant. Example fast food establishment, stores, Walmart etc. I love that the housekeeper was very pleasant and happy, she gave you the items you asked for with a smile. The room was not too bad, and the entire staff was pleasant even though some seems to be mean looking. Did not like that no one was at the front desk early in the morning, anything can walk in and do as they please, so keep your door locked at all times. ...

"I loved this property! We went to the cabins to celebrate my birthday. We knew ahead of time that the cabin we rented did not have AC, however, I called the owner to let her know our ETA, and we found out the cabin with the AC (runs on a generator) was available, and she was so accommodating and allowed us to stay in the comfort cabin instead. "It is a very cool old Florida hotel in a great location in Crystal River. It is a little dated so the humidity was not great in the rooms and it just needs a lot of updating. But they are building a new hotel right next-door which we hope to visit in the future. We did very much enjoy our stay. The staff was excellent."
