"Enjoyed our stay, but would not stay on the 2nd floor again. Walls are too thin. Also, a minor inconvenience, our reservations with Expedia said King Suite with full size refrigerator. We were given a King room with a mini frig. There really needs to be clarification with Expedia."

"We have stayed at the Red Rocker Inn several times before, the staff is always sweet and accomadating to whatever you need. We love going down for breakfast in the morning and enjoying the company of others if we wish. the fireplace is always going and its very cozy. you can walk just a couple of blocks and be in downtown black mountain. the restaurants are good and you have several varities. "

"Perfect for our 2 night stay. Nothing fancy…clean and safe. Less than a mile walk to downtown. Great breakfast across the street. Allows dogs and has a nice grassy area outside of our door. We would definitely visit again. "

"Hotel staff very nice. Coffee & Tea available 24/7. Breakfast was solid. Location is just off I-40, but the hotel is not particularly convenient to the happenings of downtown Asheville. Room was clean & eco-friendly. Neither of the 2 beds in my room was particularly comfortable. Hotel is set up well to charge various devices. All in all, pretty good. Just wish the beds were more comfortable."

"We were there during Hurricane Helena, Staff could not have been more helpful not only to the guests but the families who came who lost everything and needed a hot meal, bottled water and a roll of TP. A strong community spirit when everyone was reaching out for comfort and basic needs and the hotel accommodated everyone for many days."
