One of the most unique and charming hotels I’ve ever visited. Off the beaten path, offering a solitude and natural beauty that’s hard to find in central Bali. Beautiful comfortable rooms, thoughtful staff, and tons of animals sharing the grounds with you. The snorkeling and diving are pristine.

This place was an oasis of serene luxury. The staff were amazing and very friendly. They made us feel at home and attended to our every need. A driver picked us up from the airport and took us on excursions as planned. We attended yoga class and had a Balinese cooking class. Would not hesitate to recommend or return for more relaxation and fun.

In Ubud, I the food was terrible. There was only one place to eat and it was very very ordinary. Breakfast was ordinary and always cold. The wifi dropped in and out. The shuttle to get to the street was inconvenient. The area, including Ubud was filled with fumes. I noticed many bike riders were wearing masks. We stayed in a Villa with own pool. It was just lovely. So worth the extra to have your own pool. Design of our villa was fabulous. We were quite happy to stay in our villa rather than to brave outside. I’m going to truly hate leaving Garcia Hotel Ubud! They made my weeklong vacation in Ubud unforgettable. The staff were all so nice and accommodating. We had a minor incident the first night in our room. They immediately changed our room. And for the inconvenience offered a 60 minute massage. I was blown away by that nice gesture because it was truly unexpected. The property is absolutely gorgeous. The food was soooooo delicious. They offered 2 selections at breakfast, a complimentary shuttle into town daily and morning yoga. I loved the local delight breakfast and my daughter loved the American breakfast. They also offer fresh pressed fruit juices, coffee and smoothies. You have to try radiant glow or Immune Booster. I really can’t say enough about the staff. The spa experience was top tier and overall I love the Balinese people and culture. I can’t wait to come back for a longer stay in a few months. If you are thinking about choosing this hotel, do yourself a favor and book it! Thank me later!
