"Room is soundproofed, didn't hear any sound from the street, next door nor the corridor. Room is clean, pleasant design, love the bricked roof. Mary at the front desk is exceptionally accommodating. Nice cafe for breakfast, good pizzeria, and restaurant, all on the same street as the hotel within 2 mins walk. Metro, Termini, and attractions are 10-20 min walk away."

"Love how secluded you feel when at property surrounded by plants/trees like in a garden. Pool deck was nice to lounge. Pool was FREEZING. Required to wear swim caps you need to purchase at front desk. Staff was amazing & friendly. Restaurants all walkable. Had difficulty getting Taxis. Metro is 15 minute walk. "My first solo holiday abroad by myself so I was very anxious the hotel was very easy to get to and they helped to organise a hotel transfer e.c.t. Some staff were more helpful/welcoming than others/recommending of facilities in the hotel e.c.t. but it felt safe was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast is highly recommended. "We chose the Best Western Plus Hotel Universo as it is walking distance from the Rome train station. We were upgraded to a larger room with sofa bed. It suited us very well. The breakfast had a lot of options and staff was very attentive with coffee orders. We ate dinner one night at the restaurant which served some Roman classics and it was good. Overall, would stay again and recommend this hotel. "

"We found the staff to be helpful, breakfast was great and it was clean and modern. We walked everywhere from the hotel. Especially liked the rooftop terrace for a drink at the end of the day, the bartender knew his stuff as did all the staff. The view from the terrace at night was stunning. Will stay again.
