We booked a last minute stay, the staff were all very nice and welcoming. We are hotel people usually so it was a different experience using a communal bathroom but the facilities were very clean and nice hot showers. I found the bed a bit uncomfortable but that is an individual preference. I would stay again in the summer as the location is great, right on the beach and would like to use the pool in the warmer weather. There looked to be good bbq and kitchen facilities but we did not use these during our stay.

Tasman Papamoa Camp Has It All
Beautiful uninterrupted view of the ocean and sunrises. So close to the sand. The unit was spacious, clean and well set up. Good parking and also a lovely deck for a drink, nibble and relaxing outdoor time. We love unit 14. A short walk to the Pap Tavern & Plaza shops completes the package. We live in Papamoa so we are very biased but this is still a treat for us & the staff always ask us "how was your drive to get here today?".

Check in went to the room, but reception did not give me the key. Turned TV cld not get it to work. Tried ringing office no answer. Walked up to the office. A lovely lady tried to fix it but couldnt. I had to move rooms. Surely the TV should be checked after every checkout. And souldnt there be a booklet in the room with instructions on TV and heatpump. Quite expensive for what you get. Quite

What a great place to stay! Stayed here as there was heaps for our son to do. He swam in the pool, played on the playground and lived his best life. Thanks so much to the lovely staff. They were really kind.

We booked a Cabin for one night. Followed instructions re check in etc. Expedia said 2pm and was told by Reception - no it is 3 pm. We will ring when your Cabin is available - got a call - 'oh sorry, forgot to call you back about half hour ago' - you can check in now !! Then the surprise - We were informed that the bathroom is not in room!!!!. Even though Expedia clearly states "Bathroom" - it does not state that this is a Communal Bathroom and is outside away from your Cabin. Also - WiFi is free not additional as on Expedia. We did not stay as had not anticipated walking out in the dark during the night in the cold etc. Reception staff agreed with us about the booking being misleading and incorrect. Expedia tried very hard to contact the Manager (took a few days!!) l but was unable to get a refund. Be aware before you book!!!!

Georgina was amazing at the Reception and helped us upgrade from the initial booking. It was pouring with rain while we were there and very unusual for the area. They had safety cones in place with options to drive out. The pool area looks amazing! We will come back in the summer definitely!
